Tech Park Foundation is a 501(c)3 whose mission is to educate, advise and coach entrepreneurs, with a focus on underrepresented populations, to support hyper-growth and continue their path to accelerate their company and technology.

If we can find the right way to teach people about entrepreneurship, they can succeed.

Tech Park Foundation was formed to support entrepreneurs in the acceleration phase of their business.  By providing valuable mentorship and/or funding, the foundation helps an entrepreneur get his vision across the finish line.

Atlanta Tech ParkTech Park Foundation is collaborating with Atlanta Tech Park, Inc. (ATP) to fill a much needed gap for entrepreneurs who have completed their early stage of development but are lacking the funding, education, guidance and tools to move their business into a scale-able, operational, financially stable proposition. Tech Park Foundation is working with ATP to offer a bridge for these entrepreneurs for launching these Entrepreneur Development Programs. We believe we can aid those entrepreneurs who are at a disadvantage either through lack of funding (how to seek venture capital), or training/education of best business practices, or how to grow the team as one’s company grows. We are excited to launch these inaugural programs to meet the needs of the entrepreneur community of Atlanta, Georgia.

Entrepreneur in Residence

Interested in sharing your experience?
Become an EiR.

This function  enables experienced entrepreneurs/founders to coach, speak and train entrepreneurs at ATP.  The EiR must have launched a business and/or exited a business and is in good standing in the community.  A professional in their own right with leadership skills and business acumen to provide guidance to up and coming entrepreneurs.  An EiR may lead a quarterly program or speaking series to reach the broader base of entrepreneurs.  At minimum, three EiR’s are needed to establish the programs needed to support the entrepreneurial base and cater to the base of entrepreneurs and those in the Adopt an Entrepreneur initiative.  The EiR function is led from a lead director of the foundation.  This function will map out the quarterly programs, speakers, education and one on one coaching alignment.  The EiR is a 12 month commitment with the potential for renewal based on need.

Adopt an Entrepreneur

This initiative supports individual entrepreneurs and their teams with access to Atlanta Tech Park and the educational support.  ATP is a global innovation center with an entrepreneurial community.  The educational support provided at ATP is extensive.  ATP has many levels of support, one on one coaching from other founders, executive access to business leaders and programs that help entrepreneurs address areas of focus for their growth.  Most entrepreneurs starting out have limited financial resources and need an environment that provides access to coaches, clients and programs to advance their business.  For an Entrepreneur to be considered they will need to fill out a application and be reviewed for need by the Entrepreneur in Residence.  Each entrepreneur that makes it into the program will have a quarterly review and set of next steps to achieve.  The program will be tailored to each entrepreneur based on the stage and needs that are outlined in their acceptance into the program.  This is for a 12 month cycle and if additional time is required then a request for extension would need to be submitted and approved.  Application can be made throughout the year as the candidates submit.
